In October and November 2016 I was an intern at Laserdata GmbH in Innsbruck. I had been interested in remote sensing and Lidar data for some time and during my internship I could learn more about possible applications. After making three tutorials, I also worked with costumer data and could use my new knowledge there.
My tasks
- Evaluation of laser scanning data with the company-specific software LiS (SAGA GIS)
- Creation of marketing-relevant tutorials with the desktop publishing program Scribus on the topics classification, building models and forest parameters from 3D point clouds
- Application of the process chains to point clouds from company orders
